What is Employment Guarantee Scheme (NREGA Yojana)? The Mahatma Gandhi Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (NREGA Scheme) was implanted in India from 7 September 2005. 100 days of employment is provided under this scheme to any rural family members who are willing to do unskilled labor related to public works.
