The portal will work in conjunction with over 650 Govardhan plants and their portals across the country. Govardhan Portal aims to jailbreak the process of setting up biogas plants in India. which will act as a one stop center for assessment of investment and participation. The portal is jointly developed by the Department of Drinking Water and Health and the Ministry of Water Power as the nodal ministry.
