Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel announced the launch of Chhattisgarh Skill Development Scheme on 6 March 2023. Through this scheme, the poor and unemployed women of the state Employment Financial assistance will be provided to start.

So that women can stand on their own feet by establishing their own employment. Financial assistance will be provided by the government for women to set up businesses. This financial assistance will be provided by the government to the women based on the profession they have chosen. This will make women self-reliant and empowered. And their standard of living will also improve.

The amount of financial assistance provided by the government to the women will be directly transferred to their bank account through DBT. For which the government of Chhattisgarh has allocated a budget of 25 crore rupees for the operation of Skill Development Scheme. This scheme will work to connect unemployed women with employment by providing financial assistance. Women can apply through online and offline process to avail the benefits of this scheme.
