This scheme is specially for visually impaired students. Appellants who are studying in vocational courses can apply for this scheme. Those who want to avail the benefits have to apply online or offline for this scheme. The scheme will be managed by the Department of Disabled and Senior Citizens, Assistant Director and District Manager Welfare Department.

AP Free Laptop Plan Eligibility Conditions

• Students whose parents’ income is less than Rs.15000 per month will get free laptop
• Students whose parents’ income per month is Rs. 15000 to Rs. 20000 is between they have to pay half the amount of the laptop.
• Students whose parents’ income is Rs. is more than 20000 per month to be paid in full.
• Students should study professional courses

Guidelines for Granting Laptops to Students with Disabilities

For Visually Impaired Students, IT has proposed to purchase a laptop at a cost of Rs.30,000 for all students studying in vocational courses. Apart from that, the government is also going to provide laptops to students with hearing and speech disabilities. -handicapped, and orthopedically-necessary student once in a lifetime. Below are the guidelines for laptop approval:-

• A student will be given a laptop once in a lifetime
• If the student has given any wrong information to avail the benefit of this scheme, will the student be liable for any reason of the corporation? Students also have to return the instrument or the cost of the instrument
• Only those students whose parent/guardians monthly income is not high will get the benefit of this scheme
  • 15000 per month which is half of the cost of the device
  • 15000 per month to Rs.20000 per month and collecting the entire expenses of that monthly income.
  • 20000 per month and above under ADIP scheme
• Students need to submit bonafide certificate of school or college, income certificate of parents, Saderam certificate, Aadhaar card, phone number etc.
• The laptops will be distributed through Welfare Department of Assistant Director, Disabled and Senior Citizens/District Manager AP Differently Handicapped and Senior Citizens Aid Corporation.
• The authorities must keep all the applications received during the year with them
• Only qualified details of laptop requirement have to be submitted to the head office
• Officials must maintain records of beneficiaries to avoid double claims or false claims
• Only the students who are pursuing post graduation or professional courses will get the benefit of this scheme

• Click on Home Page “Online Application” option in the middle of the page

• Click “Click Here to Apply for Different Disability Scheme”

• Look for “Application for Sanction of Laptops” option
• Click on “Apply Online” option and a new page will appear
• Click if you are not registered “no” option

• The form will appear on the screen
• Enter the details below
  • Name as in Aadhaar Card
  • Aadhaar Card Number
  • mobile number
  • Email ID
  • Create a password
  • Type the password again
• Select the registration option
• If you have already registered on the site, login with ID and password
• Click on the Apply Online option and the application form will be displayed
• Fill the application form and upload the required documents
• After reviewing the form submit the application
